Toadflax (Linaria vulgaris)

The yellow & orange spikes of Toadflax are found in dry grasslands & roadsides in south and east Scotland. This perennial wildflower is very popular with bumblebees and was traditionally used to treat skin problems. It grows up to about 40cm tall.

Sowing: These seeds can be dormant and so are best sown in early autumn. Sow in trays or pots of moist compost and transplant to a well drained, open site or carefully scatter the (very light) seed directly onto the fine raked seed bed and firm down well. Water

100-200 seeds per packet.
