Marsh Marigold (Caltha palustris)

Marsh Marigold is found at the edges of ponds and burns throughout Scotland.
This beautiful perennial wildflower has heart shaped dark green leaves & produces large, yellow, cup shaped flowers in late spring.

Sowing: Sow in trays or pots of moist compost & transplant to a pond-edge or other area that stays damp throughout the year, or scatter the seed directly onto the site on a fine-raked seed bed firming down well. Keep young plants watered & weeded.

Up to 20 cm tall
